Fair Water Use has contacted the Prime Minister, [LETTER HERE], providing him with a draft Proclamation, [DRAFT PROCLAMATION HERE], based on that issued by Californian Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, incorporating the concerns which were sufficient for the State of California to apply the necessary, urgent measures and comparing them directly to those which apply in the Murray-Darling Basin.

We have urged the Prime Minister to take similarly decisive action to address the plight of the Murray-Darling.
