Following the release of the Guide to the Draft Basin Plan, it has been
clear that some of the assertions and statements made by the irrigation
lobby have been alarmist in the extreme and/or cannot be supported by
reliable data. Fair Water Use feels that it is essential to
counter such misinformation with carefully researched and referenced responses, which will be released in forthcoming issues of the Murray-Darling Fact File.
